Find out moreSalary – We offer a starting salary of £21,450 per annum, annual profit share bonus and life insurance.
Hours – 37.5 per week, overtime is often available.
About the Job – This is a customer facing position, you will be visiting our clients on a fortnightly rotating schedule, so you will have the opportunity to really get to know some lovely people. Feedback from customers is really important to us so we need you to be our eyes and ears, asking for comments and responding appropriately. We are looking for someone to cover the North Surrey and West Sussex areas so ideally need someone located within easy reach of north A3/M25 and A24 areas.
Role Specifics – As a Maintainer you will be responsible for watering the plants and making sure that they look great, cleaning and tidying displays, topping up soil levels and replacing plants if required. Other duties include helping with new contract installations and making seasonal changes to exterior displays.
Christmas is a particularly busy time for us so it’s all hands on deck putting up decorations in client workplaces, it’s great fun we promise!
About You – We always say that attitude is way more important than experience, that’s because we offer full in-house training. To begin with you will be working alongside experienced and knowledgeable colleagues but as soon as you are ready, you will be spending more time ‘flying solo’.
You will always have support of course, but as you get to know the job and your regular calls, you will be given more responsibility.
Some knowledge of plants is desirable and you will definitely need a full UK driving licence. Some lifting is involved so while we are not after Arnie types, you will need to be physically fit.
To get the most out of this role you should be a great team member, helpful and aware of client needs, flexibility is a must, but we will say it again, attitude is everything.
Please take a look at our website to find out what we are about. If you like what you see, and want to find out more, get in touch with our Office Manager Jess by email
