Any Questions?

‘Well what can I say about John… he has been instrumental in nurturing our office planters over the last 2.5 years…’

We almost called this blog ‘A Star is Born’, but then we have always known that John is a star, just like every member of our maintenance team. We then thought it should be titled ‘Gardeners Question Time’, but we didn’t fancy being sued by the BBC.

So, what’s the big idea?

We recently received an email from a customer, singing John’s praises for his friendly attitude, hard work, and tellingly, the following:

John’s absolute wealth of knowledge about plants is quite astonishing, so much so I’ve often asked his advice about my home plants. I’ve learnt so much from him that my own plants have actually thrived, which is a first! I have been known to kill off Lucky Bamboo!

In fact it is quite common for customers to ask our maintenance teams about plants, often bringing in leaves, pictures, or even the plants themselves for a quick inspection, diagnosis, and care tips.

So, we thought it might be a nice idea to expand the ‘service’ and encourage questions for our plant experts to answer.

If your Aloe is looking a bit dry, your Jade Plant a little jaded, or your African Violets a bit blue, please let us know, and we will do what we can to help. We can even identify that mystery plant that’s been on your patio for years!

We can advise on which plants work in every household location, which thrive on neglect, and which delicate doilies need the most care and attention.

John and the team will be making short films to talk about plant care, and we would love your ideas and queries.

Simply ask in person on their next visit, send us an email, or get in touch via social media, and we will be delighted to help.
