For the last three years, eFig, the trade association for the Interior Landscaping Industry, have held a vote to determine the office plant of the year. eFIG start with a list of plants used within the industry and ask members and website visitors to vote for their favourite, based on the following criteria, what plants do you think:
- Have the feel good factor
- A calming effect
- You simply like being around
The plants that get the most votes go before a panel of independent judges, who then make the final call. Below are the winning plants from the past three years.
2010 – Beaucarnea Bonsai
2011 – Phalaenopsis Orchid
2012 – Vanda Orchid
