The seasons come and go, and as we prepare to leave autumn behind, we felt that it might be a good idea to reflect on the year so far.
But that had the potential to be absolutely ghastly, so we decided to write about something a little more up-beat instead.
The office then had a ‘full and frank exchange of opinions’ about when winter actually begins, a quick Google revealing that it starts on December 21st and ends on March 20th. Next time we write a blog, we will steer clear of subjects like winter and go for something a little less contentious, like politics or football!
Our offices and storage facilities are in the tiny, but chocolate box pretty village of Steep Marsh, in the heart of rural Hampshire close to Petersfield. It seems strange to say that we are proud of our location but we are, perhaps because we are surrounded by nature and lovely neighbours… or maybe it’s the easy access to the A3… Only joking, it’s the nature and lovely neighbours.
We see every day the changes to our landscape, vibrant spring colours, the rich full bloom and blossom of summer, muted tones of autumn and the stark beauty of winter. Nature in all its glory, showing us that every season has a reason.
Green Team Interiors is an unusual business in some respects, the way that we operate is important to us and we have written quite a lot about ‘A Better Way’, referring to our commitment to treating every person that touches our company, with respect and appreciation. We have no great plans for global domination but of course we want to succeed and to grow, but we want to do it the right way.
We do not have any answers to the current situation, we do however have a belief that treating people well, acting in a kind and respectful way and above all remaining as positive as we are able, will certainly help.
After all, if nature teaches us one thing it’s that growth happens in spring even after the harshest winter.
